At Lidl, we’re Big on creative, Big on making stuff that puts smiles on faces and products in trolleys and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active Marketing Campaigns Executive to join a busy and ambitious team that develops and delivers brand, seasonal and trade driving campaigns.

The Marketing Campaigns Executive role would suit someone who has worked in-house or agency, and has a good understanding of campaign management. The right candidate will support in the development and execution of customer centric through-the-line campaigns on time and within budget, working with Lidl’s distinctive tone of voice and personality guidelines.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for managing campaign timings, making sure deliverables documents are up to date and creative has been signed off by relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting our price campaigns with high levels of attention to detail engaging with relevant internal teams and agencies to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and on time.
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Buying and Legal to ensure we have accurate product information and relevant samples for campaigns as well as substation for any product or price claims made.
  • Working with creative agencies to ensure accurate and timely submission of all necessary documents for campaign approvals
  • Supporting with the management of critical paths (timing plans) from ideation to implementation stage, with key dates updated in diaries and project management systems (Asana).
  • Leading on certain Tier 3 campaigns (where applicable), and supporting on Tier 1 and 2 campaigns as required
  • Keeping the ‘campaign book’ up to date with approved campaign work and campaign results
  • Ensuring accurate and timely product data entry and substantiation for Clearcast and RACC (including legal and buyer claim substantiation and nutritional information).
  • Responsible for certain financial management including raising POs, setting up suppliers and supporting line manager/ campaign lead in the monitoring and recording of spend

What you’ll need

  • Experience in supporting in the development of through-the-line brand and trade advertisement campaigns
  • Experience in retail or FMCG or other fast-moving industries is highly desirable
  • Previous experience collaborating with or working within creative or marketing agencies
  • Passion for creativity and ability to provide opinions on strategic and creative thinking
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to be assertive when partnering with stakeholders
  • Proactive attitude with problem solving skills
  • Highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Comprehensive Excel skills and experience of working with other Microsoft Office programmes
  • An enthusiastic team player who is keen to make a difference and able to work co-operatively as well as independently where required.
  • Experience of working with project management tools including Asana is desirable
