Job Description:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this 12 month fixed-term role is responsible for the management “Point of sale” and “Dry Goods” fulfilment ensuring materials are available on time in full and at cost, in line with production schedule, and will assist the Production Planners to resolve exceptional supply issues. This individual will also support and drive process improvements across the entire scope of “Dry Goods”.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with suppliers to ensure order fulfilment in line with Demand and Forecast
• Work closely with the Production Planner to ensure material availability is in line with production plan
• Run monthly inventory reports, and report any exceptions to KPIs
• Manage inventory levels to negate excess stock risk
• Support Procurement Manager with service and commercial issues highlighted and ensure all relevant actions are undertaken
• Work with the finance team to resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Establish best practice procedures
• Participate in project teams (e.g. new product developments, continuous improvement initiatives)
• Monthly reconciliation of paid stock & supplier WIP, taking action if and when required
• Ensure non-conforming stock is returned to supplier and credit notes received
