This is not just any job this is an M&S Trading Admin Assistant Job! In this role you will support the International trading team in the maximisation of international sales, through the effective planning, selling and trading of a global product range that delivers profitability at channel, range and option level, for M&S as well as for our International partners.

Key accountabilities and measures

• To drive profitable International growth across all International channels
• To support the International Trading team in the delivery of key International KPI’s for your product area e.g. fulfilment at final intake, sales and op profit
• To promote an International attitude and be a catalyst for International in your product area, ensuring it is fully integrated with, and treated as a priority by, the global buying teams and that the needs of International customers/partners are fulfilled
• Support the Int Trading team in the creation and delivery of an International product strategy, which maximises sales across all International selling channels and routes to market (e.g. order-based markets, marketplaces, online D2C) and aligns to the International strategy
• Support the Int Trading team to ensure iBT partner buying information is accurate – including cost prices, images, attribute/product data
• Play your part in the delivery of Int buying events e.g. Buying fairs or remote/digital buying events
• Support the Int Trading Team in ensuring the Department teams are up to date on International performance, including sales, best sellers, missed opportunities
• Support the Int Trading team in re-forecasting forward sales, retail and reported, across all channels and partners
• Support the Int Trading team creating Int lessons learnt for product category/depts and drive forward action to grow sales in future seasons
• Support the UK in developing their Order based business g. Ocado

Key Skills

• Numerical, analytical and interpretive skills
• Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with BU, franchisees, International colleagues, and suppliers
• Communicative, influencing and organisational skills
• Critical path creation and delivery understanding
• Ability to understand performance, key metrics and how to use such data to maximise sales and deliver growth in future seasons in their area
• Ability to fully utilise appropriate IT systems
