About the role
The IT team are currently looking for an IT Contracts Manager to lead and influence the contractual and commercial discussions with IT suppliers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to drive innovation within the IT business area; where there’s a thirst for driving success. You’ll be managing these relationships by analysing performance rates and ensuring the business has the best IT supplier relationships possible.
Other responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing the drafting and structure of IT contracts using Matalan’s standard terms as a template. Reviewing and defining any changes to ensure fit for purpose.
- Being accountable for monitoring the performance of SLAs and adherence to the contract of each of the vendors. Reviewing and adapting when required to ensure contracts are fit for purpose and continue to drive the quality and value we seek. Lead any performance meetings.
- Leading negotiations for supplier contracts, influencing processes to ensure that they meet the requirements of Matalan
- Ensuring all non Matalan contracts comply with company standards and policies
- Leading the negotiations of commercial proposals for contract renewals in line with agreed budgets
- Leading the negotiations of commercial proposals for new supplier contracts, influencing where required to ensure they reflect the set standards to drive quality and value
About You
- Experience gained in a fast paced retail environment working with strategic IT partners
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with 3rd party suppliers
- A good understanding of Hardware, Software and Cloud service contracts
