M&s Jobs – Film Production Lead

Job Description:

The purpose of film production is to present our amazing products and promote our core brand values in the most visually engaging way, delivering the most effective commercials on time and on budget. We’re looking for a hard-working Film Production Lead to join our team and oversee all creative production for M&S Food Marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the Brand Communications team, and the wider Marketing Department
• Effectively collaborating with other departments and external organisations will be a critical part of the job
• A large part of the role will be leading on negotiations with suppliers, agents and talent to ensure we receive very best value for money
• Accountability for multimillion pound production budgets, working closely with marketing procurement to ensure we’re working with the very best partners to create extraordinary marketing communications
• Stay ahead of the latest innovations and developments in creative production, and constantly challenge the accepted ways of approaching the creation of advertising materials
• The ability to construct a compelling argument will be central to this role, and excellent skills of persuasion will be needed to ensure projects are completed to the highest possible standard within time and within budget

Qualification & Experience:

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Clear, articulate communicator
• High level of commercial awareness, economic, commercial, political experience, industry specific knowledge to differentiate M&S from competitors
• Good analytical skills, ability to direct, lead and deliver solutions that go beyond existing ways of doing things
• High level of Film Production experience
• Excellent relationships within the wider industry
• Positive and optimistic outlook
