Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join us at our busy beach and surfer paradise tearoom! You will be engaging with visitors and National Trust members to provide outstanding, friendly and efficient service.

Hours: Flexible working hours throughout the week/weekend

Salary: £9.60 per hour

Contract: Fixed term until 03 September 2023.

This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.

What it’s like to work here

This role will provide the opportunity for the right people to engage within our other departments within the portfolio on the North Devon coastline and enjoy the nature lead experiences that are available for our teams. These come in the form of conservation projects like tree planting, brush clearing on the moors as part of a big group, deaf awareness courses, wildlife study and management as part of our cause towards everyone welcome and now and forever as an enrichment to your role.

What you’ll be doing

With your love of working with people, positive attitude and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet. Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served looks delicious. From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective.

Full training is given so no experience is needed.
