Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Support tasks related to ATC investigations.
- If appropriate to the unit, slot monitoring and co-ordination with the Airspace Capacity Management Team (TMFMP).
- Accurate recording of flight information and reports using appropriate technology / equipment such as Automatic Terminal Information Service (ATIS).
- Purchasing related activities / stationery, etc.
- Organising and processing visitor permits / passes.
- Maintaining filing systems.
- Acting as First Aid / Fire Warden where required.
- Attending meetings / note taking if required and any other reasonable administration support activities.
- Maintaining operational statistics, databases and reporting which might include AAVA (overtime) reports, KPIs and reconciliation of traffic statistics.
- Document Control.
- At non-Electronic Flight Progress Strips (EFPS) units, receiving and actioning of flight plans / flight progress strips and other related flight data. Some units may have a requirement for flight plan processing to be undertaken.
- Met observations using appropriate equipment if required by the unit.
- Support tasks related to the ATC simulator, including input support and acting as a pseudo pilot where required.
- Instructing and training new team members.
- Any other reasonable support tasks required by the local unit.
- Use of any new equipment installed in the airport to help with operational support tasks.

Qualification & Experience:
- A strong team player is required with the ability to demonstrate flexibility in meeting various working demands placed upon them.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy is essential. The post holder will possess a minimum of five GCSEs grades A-C to include maths and English or equivalent.
- It is essential that the post holder is able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation, both internally to NATS and externally with customers of NATS.
- Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
