HRBPs support Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) in a variety of practical ways, including strategic workforce planning and talent management; attending SLT meetings to provide HR updates and specific input regarding issues such as restructuring, terms and conditions, policy, and resourcing. They also contribute to the drafting and revision of HR policies and procedures, sit and advise on disciplinary and capability panels, support recruitment activity as appropriate, drive performance improvement and promote the HR service to help Line Managers resolve all manner of people related issues. They require a good knowledge of NCA core business, excellent working knowledge of current employment law and HR best practice, and should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and relationship building skills.
