Job Content

  • Send out New Supplier Forms, chase and process samples, understanding the urgency, in order to prioritise with suppliers.
  • Enter basic information on to buyers range plan and the progress system.
  • Typing, photocopying, faxing, archiving and filing for the area when required.
  • Collate weekly attendance records and notify the correct person
  • Request mockshop, and ensure they are delivered on time and to the correct person by emailing suppliers, advising deadlines, collating and updating spreadsheets.
  • Keep area records up to date i.e. supplier details.
  • Send out contracts to the supplier base on behalf of Merchandisers.
  • Create and update regular timelines for your teams.
  • Arrange for unwanted samples to be sent to the staff shop. Generally keep the department tidy and help out wherever possible.
  • Nominated Fire Warden – making sure an updated fire register is kept at all times.
  • Ensure post and courier is sent out and collected everyday and courier deadlines are met.

Skills Required

  • Good PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to colleagues.
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to use and trust own judgement to make the best decision.
  • A diplomatic approach to solving routine problems.
  • A friendly and helpful manner both generally and on the telephone.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced working environment and multitask
