Permanent, full time vacancy.

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexibility required)

Up to £30,000 per annum, including comprehensive bonus and benefits

Based at our Elmsall distribution complex, the Videographer/Video Editor role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the engagement of our employees.

About the role:

Next Distribution are looking for a talented, confident and resilient Videographer/Video Editor to join our dynamic Communications and Design team, creating short films for internal communications, training, conferences, recruitment and social media.

Reporting into the Senior Videographer, you’ll be responsible for your own projects and work as part of a small crew depending on the size of the project. Whether it’s planning, organising shoots, script writing, on location camera operation, sound recording, lighting, directing, editing, audio correction/mixing and basic motion graphics.

You’ll work on all aspects of video production to create high quality and engaging content. Keeping within company design guidelines to ensure we maintain a strong and consistent brand identity, whist still being able to add your own creative stamp.

Supporting a variety of people and managers across different department to identify where videos and photograph can improve processes and help achieve business goals.

About you:

Essential

  • Proven experience in video production (Portfolio required with ability to explain your involvement )
  • HND or degree level qualification in relative field (Film or creative media production)
  • Highly proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Technical understanding of operating mirrorless cameras (ideally Sony A7 series)
  • How to use and set up filming equipment from tripods, lights, gimbals, sound recorders and wireless mics
  • An eye for detail when it comes to continuity, graphic alignment and making our business and people look their very best
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well under pressure when given tight deadlines
  • Self motivated and well organised
  • Driving licence/own vehicle (travelling to and from our numerous Yorkshire warehouses for shoots)

Desirable

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Experience with multi-camera interview set ups; lighting, sounds, directing
  • Photography skills
