Job Description:

As a Council we have bold ambitions for our city and our people are key to delivering excellent services. We are looking for hard working individuals to join our HR Corporate Support Team, with a focus on delivering HR Support to Sheffield City Council Employee, Managers and HR Colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with your team members as well as supporting other teams within the HR Service.
  • The service receives a high volume of calls and customer enquiries from employees and managers, so you will therefore need to have excellent customer service skills, be highly organised, and confident in undertaking transactional processes, and able to work at pace and with accuracy.
  • As a HR Administrator, you will be involved in the new starter and leaver processes, supporting managers with their establishment control, and managing the DBS renewal process for Sheffield City Council Employees.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A knowledge and understanding of HR procedure and processes would be an advantage.
