Job Description:

The Senior Planning Technician Crossrail is responsible for planning and coordination of all safety of line inspections, maintenance, like for like renewal and enhancements works. This will include all aspects of safe works planning, access, isolation, resourcing, materials, plant and machine requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan the delivery of maintenance tasks as specified by the Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer’s, complying with defined standards, processes, procedures and performance to be delivered.
• Work with the Engineering and Delivery Managers teams, ensuring that Safe work planning is delivered so that the operational requirements align with the maintenance engineering asset management requirements and deliver a compliant, safe, operable and maintainable railway.
• Responsible for the Medium and Short term planning and followed through post-delivery, acting as a issuing authority to allow work to be undertaken on the infrastructure via the permitting system.
• Ensure Infrastructure and Asset maintenance standards are met by applying established Safe work planning policies and procedures to ensure safe delivery of all Maintenance activities.
• Continuous improvement through a delivery of change initiatives.
