Job Description:

As an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, with discipline skills (design or design assurance in areas such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, tunnel ventilation, water supply, gas supply, mechanical sub-systems, LV electrical, lighting, UPS etc) you will be an associate member ideally working towards or have chartership via an appropriate Institution (IET, IMechE or CIBSE etc.). You’ll have good knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical systems within the building services industry. Along with working knowledge of design, construction, operation, maintenance and assessment of Mechanical and Electrical systems within a transport environment, you will have a good understanding of relevant E&M legislation and associated standards, as well as the ability to make recommendations and provide advice to stakeholders and other Engineering team members. You will need to be a clear communicator, both verbally and in report writing and may work either as part of a multi-disciplinary team or alone in certain instances.
