  • Manage the Devonport Naval Stores account as primary Unit Application Administrator (UAA). Prioritise Naval Stores workload, and ensure all authorised demands are progressed by the Naval Stores Officers (NSO) to meet required delivery date (RDD).
  • Provide guidance for the MJDI articles in Use (AinU) Custodians on the correct management of their MJDI accounts including demand, receipting and reverse supply chain. LO NS will be required to communicate via a variety of media.
  • Meet requirements of Royal Navy Compliancy Checks and Controls, and complete tier 2 Compliance Management Tool (CMT) checks. Act as the point of contact for the completion of biennial Base Logistics Inspection.
  • Compile weekly statistical data for reports as required by CMT and NCHQ to ensure compliance with Defence Logistics Framework (DLF).
  • The post holder is to develop experience across a range of Logistics and operational requirements, in doing so gain knowledge of a variety of practices and procedures within the Supply Chain Department.
  • Provide training and support for MJDI to Authorised Users to maintain quality of service.
  • Conduct business and maintain a secure archive library of documentation in support of the Naval Stores MJDI account.
  • Oversee the operation of the record room and disposal in accordance with the security classification of documentation held.
  • Hold an EMMA account and monitor and verify ammunition allowances for all demands received.
  • Point of Contact for JAMES within SCM’s area of responsibility. Post-holder will be responsible for examination of problems, investigate the implications and present analysis of problems supported by evidence, and provide solutions or recommendations.
  • The post holder must be willing to drive on occasion to local units.
  • Oversee the receipt and distribute agency fuel cards, ensuring the MJDI account is updated and complete.
  • Act as Building controller for N010, facilitate building safety and security. Act as the appointed person for Health and Safety requirements.
  • Line Management responsibility for 2x AO’s and 1x SZ2.
